A short and sweet one.
I had the pleasure of picking up Nariah early today because school closed at noon and took her to her favorite pizza place, Cici’s. She always gets the cheese pizza and then a bowl of sauce so she can dip her pizza in it. After a few bites she leaves the pizza in the bowl and says : “Daddy, that pizza GOT me!“
I look at her confused, “It did what?“
“It GOT me! It got me good!“
“What do you mean baby?“
“*sigh*, It burnt me daddy, it burnt me on the tongue. It GOT me when I wasn’t ready” and then she smiles after realizing I “got” the saying.
